Our Catamaran type work boat & transfer vessel is suited for easy deployment. We depart from Aberdeen Harbour Commercial Quay West . Providing voyages also to & from the following destinations. SEA-CAB is a 12 meter twin keeled catamaran. Driven by twin Iveco 450HP engines delivering over 900HP to the helm. Pilot / Skipper and crew sit in the comfortable & securely enclosed spacious bright orange weather-tight wheelhouse cabin. Our purpose built Catamaran average cruising speed is 18 to 20 Knots with a top speed of 24 Knots. 1 knot is equivalent to equal to one nautical mile (1.852 km) per hour, approximately 1.151 mph. 20 Knots would equal just over 23 Mph approx. Maximum top speed is approx 30 Mph. Our seagoing vessel is equipped with 2 bunks for overnight stays for crew and hot and cold water fitted with toilet and washing facilities including a hot water shower provision. Fully equipt with toilet and shower facility on board and also accommodate crew members comfortably for overnight stays when required. The SEA-CAB is 12 meter Cat powered by 2 Iveco engines delivering 480HP each , Providing over of over 900Hp of power. The vessel has an 8.5 kva Generator on board SUPPLYING 240V to various locations. Our wheelhouse is home to a Olex 3D Chart Plotter which provides a unique combination of navigation, fishery plotting and sea-floor mapping and live depth control monitoring Fully equipped for Crew Transfer, Survey Work and Calibrations of GPS nautical equipment.
